Well, I am not saving any money with Verizon FIOS, but the service is better than Comcast. I especially like the clear picture provided by the FIOS service. The Internet access is faster and I no longer have short signal outages while talking on the phone.
What is really hot is that Verizon just added a feature allowing you to view your Facebook and Twitter post on your television screen! You access a Widget function on the menu, enter your Facebook or Twitter credentials and away you go! The only posting you can do on Facebook is to have it update your status with what TV program you are currently watching (it automatically stamps a message that reads "I am currently watching XYZ program on Verizon FIOS." But beyond the self promotion crap, it's is nice. You can have it spilt your TV screen with one half of the TV program and the other half yout Facebook or Twitter pages, or you can make Facebook or Twitter fill the entire screen. A nice feature when you are viewing Facebook photos of other people or your own Facebook photos. Yes, you can view the pages of all of your Facebook friends!
