Recently a friend of mine came to my house with his laptop, a MacBook Pro. He was busy creating a new music playlist in iTunes on his computer. iTunes is a music jukebox that lets you load music cd's onto your computer, and you can download music from the Apple iTunes store, which is accessible from the Internet. You can also make a list of music to play in any order you want from the same artist, or a mixed list of various artists.
You should have seen the look on his face when I told him he could play his music wirelessly through my stereo system using iTunes. I pointed him to the lower right corner corner of his iTunes music player, where he learned that I have various devices throughout my house that he could stream his music to. I told him to play a song from his iTunes library and then choose my Apple TV, which has a storage capacity of 160 GB. Just like that the music playing on his laptop was streaming through my Apple TV to the surround speakers of my audio component system.
Too bad I don't get a commission from Apple Corporation. I think I just helped them sell another Apple TV.
