Okay, I couldn't help it! I broke down and bought an Apple iPhone the week after all of the hype. The excuse I used was this: 1. Valerie's Razr phone battery was starting to act up. 2. She had the phone almost two years. 3. She had a cell phone and a Palm PDA and it was time for her to consolidate those devices. So what was the solution? I decided to make a sacrifice and give her my Palm Treo and go and buy myself the iPhone. Now Val has an all-in-one solution and I have my new toy, I mean state-of-the-art, phone, browser, iPod, mapping and youtube appliance (I havd to write that to justify the cost)!
Let me start out buy saying I am disappointed in the lack of the following features in the iPhone: 1. No way to sync my Outlook To-do list or Outlook Notes. 2. There is no search feature in Calendars, contacts or other applications except when going to the Internet.
Now that I got that out of the way let me say I love the iPhone! I am certain the missing features will be forthcoming and they will make the pleasure of using the iPhone even better!
I will discuss the phone in more detail soon and upload more photos of the iPhone.
