So, I decided I couldn't take it anymore! My wife's Lexus RX 350 built-in Bluetooth is terrible. Whenever she connects her cellphone to it and makes calls static is heard intermittently throughout the call. It doesn't matter who she calls or who calls her. Any calls lasting more than five minutes produces static at some point. I decided to purchase and install a MOTOROKR T505 Bluetooth Car Kit for her. That turned out to be a mistake! In a nutshell, it operate through a FM frequency in your car stereo through a channel it selects. That means whenever a call comes in you must tune your radio to that channel, then press the connect button on the device. This activates the car speakers so you can listen to the caller through the car stereo. It also has another a nice feature of announcing the caller-id information when a call comes in. While I got it to work, it just didn't fit my requirements for an easy to operate device. So I wound up purchasing Valerie a Plantronics Voyager 520, just like the one I purchased for myself recently. Do you detect a pattern, lol.
