On a business trip last week I broke my Plantronics Voyager 520. The part that wraps around my ear broke when I shoved it into my pants pocket instead of leaving it in my coat like I normally do. So the next day I went and bought a new bluetooh hands free headset for my iPhone.
I like Plantronics headsets because they can connect to two wireless phones at the same time. Since I am one of those people who have one wireless phone for work and one for personal use (iPhone) I like that feature. So, even though I looked at Jawbone and Motorola headsets I wound up buying a new model Plantronics Discovery 925. As mentioned the Plantronics Discovery 925 also connects to two wireless phones simultaneously, and has a case (to protect it while not in use) which can charge the headset while it is stored there. It comes with a a recharble battery in the case. The headset can also charge via USB connection to my iPhone car charger, which I just bought to upgrade my old iPod charger. The old charger could charge the iPhone but would not let me play music while the charger was connected.
The great thing is there was a $30 rebate on the Plantronics Voyager 520 and since I bought a car car charger they gave me a leather case free to store my iPhone. I choose one like I already have as a backup. Nothing beats saving a buck or, in this case $60.
