Outdoor Speakers 2

Wow! We have been so busy getting ready for our daughter Candice's college graduation celebration that I have not posted any of the new technical enhancements I have made to our home:

1. The four new speakers have been placed outside. Two of the speakers resemble planters and two of them resemble boulders (check out the speaker to the left of the grill with real flowers in it). They sound great! I have added pebble gravel to the planters per the instructions and then planted white and purple flowers in them. At first glance you would never know they are speakers. The outdoor speaker wire runs under the new deck and comes up right underneath the planter speakers. We just had to drill a small hole in the deck under each speaker.


2. The other speakers are in the new flower bed at the back of our yard. My buddy Andrew and I ran outdoor speaker wire to the back of the yard and then buried the wire under the dirt.


3. The new speakers are powered by the second zone in my Onkyo receiver and an amplifier I bought from Andrew. The two zone receiever allows me to play sound from one source in my home theater and play sound from the same or a different source outside!
